Do I Have to Pay Child Support if My Daughter Doesn’t Live with Her Mother?

Do I Have to Pay Child Support if My Daughter Doesn't Live with Her MotherQuestion:

I pay child support and my daughter doesn’t even live at home! She doesn’t even receive any of the money. Do I have to keep paying?

Answer:

If your daughter is not living with her mother and not living away while attending school, you should be able to terminate support. Where is she living? You can file a petition to modify support in Family Court or you can consult with an attorney if you want representation in court.
