Family Law Issues with Ex-Spouse | Refusing to Pay College Expenses

If you and your ex-spouse have a dispute as to how college expenses are to be paid, our first reference is any agreement or judgment that has been executed in your case. If that agreement or judgment provides for the payment of college expenses and your ex-spouse is refusing, we can file an enforcement proceeding in family court. If there is nothing in your agreement about college expenses, we can file a modification petition asking the court to address the issue of college expenses.

Family Law Issues with Ex-Spouse | Stalking

Electronic monitoring can be a form of stalking, and it’s illegal. If you believe that someone is monitoring you electronically, you should contact law enforcement. You should also consider turning off your phone, getting a new phone or, at a very minimum, changing all your passwords and settings, including any setting that might share your location with any other device or account. If you feel like you are being stalked, you can file a family offense petition in your local family court to seek an order of protection.
